{"id":1291,"date":"2025-02-13T16:05:36","date_gmt":"2025-02-13T21:05:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ventilabec.ca\/?post_type=carrieres&#038;p=1291"},"modified":"2025-02-14T08:21:26","modified_gmt":"2025-02-14T13:21:26","slug":"dispatcher","status":"publish","type":"carrieres","link":"https:\/\/ventilabec.ca\/en\/carrieres\/dispatcher\/","title":{"rendered":"Dispatcher"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Dispatcher is responsible for dispatching service calls related to air conditioning, heating, ventilation (HVAC) and combustion for the commercial and industrial sectors.<\/p>\n<p>Job description<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Handle service calls: Receive and analyze customer requests;<\/li>\n<li>Classify calls according to urgency and customer needs;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate service calls, taking into account technicians&#8217; skills, availability and location;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure work orders are completed on time and reassign tasks if necessary;<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance contract management: Plan and monitor preventive maintenance schedules;<\/li>\n<li>Verify accuracy of information related to interventions (hours, parts, etc.);<\/li>\n<li>Customer coordination: Process technician recommendations and schedule future appointments with customers;<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the overall smooth running of operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Profile required<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Academic level: High school diploma;<\/li>\n<li>5 to 10 years&#8217; experience in dispatching service calls in the HVAC and\/or plumbing sector, or in building mechanics in the commercial and industrial sectors;<\/li>\n<li>Ability and ease in learning and using new computer software \/ Knowledge of Progression live operating software (asset);<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills;<\/li>\n<li>Autonomous and organized;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills (oral and written);<\/li>\n<li>Facility with computer software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Benefits<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Group insurance and RRSP;<\/li>\n<li>Flexible working hours<\/li>\n<li>18 days annual vacation;<\/li>\n<li>On-site gym;<\/li>\n<li>Career advancement opportunities;<\/li>\n<li>Competitive salary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you&#8217;re passionate about coordination and want to take on new challenges, this is the job for you!
